Recoil Clash: Gun Duel — Privacy Policy
App: Recoil Clash: Gun Duel (package com.cozygames.recoilclash)
Version covered: 0.8 and forward, until this policy is amended.
Effective date: 2026-09-02.
Last updated: 2026-09-02.
Recoil Clash is a physics duel game published by Cozygames. It has no
account and no login. The small amount of data it handles is for showing ads,
understanding which levels players reach, and fixing crashes. Nothing
collected identifies you personally.
What we collect
- Advertising ID. Google's resettable advertising
identifier, used by the ad SDKs to show ads and limit how often you see
the same one. It is not linked to your name or email.
- Gameplay events. Aggregate events like "level
completed", which weapon was used, and session counts, sent to Google
Firebase Analytics so we can see which features players use. Bound to an
anonymous identifier, never to your name or email.
- Crash reports. If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics
receives a technical report (stack trace, device model, Android version,
app version) so we can fix the bug. No personal content is included.
- Ad performance data. When an ad is shown, we record its
estimated value and which ad network served it, in aggregate, to run the
business. This uses the same anonymous identifiers as above.
- Approximate, non-precise signals used by ads. The ad
SDKs may use coarse, IP-derived region and device information (device
model, Android version, language) to serve and measure ads. We do not
collect precise GPS location.
- Build identifier. The version of the app you're
running, used to filter analytics and crashes by release.
What we do NOT collect
- Your name, email, or phone number.
- Your precise location (no GPS).
- Your contacts, photos, videos, or files.
- Your microphone, camera, or audio.
- Your payment details. The optional "Remove Ads" purchase is processed
entirely by Google Play; we never see your card or billing
information, only an anonymous confirmation that the purchase
succeeded.
- Any browsing data outside the app.
Ads
Recoil Clash is free and supported by ads through Google
AdMob. It shows interstitial ads (between some levels) and rewarded
ads (which you choose to watch in exchange for a revive or a weapon trial).
The one-time "Remove Ads" purchase permanently removes interstitials;
rewarded ads remain available because they are always your choice.
AdMob acts as a mediator and may hand an ad request to a partner ad
network. The app includes the SDKs of these networks, and when one of them
serves an ad it receives the same ad signals described above:
- Consent (EEA, UK, and similar regions). On first launch
we show Google's consent form (UMP). Your choice decides whether you see
personalized or non-personalized ads, and you can revisit it any time
via the Privacy button on the main menu.
- You can reset or limit ad tracking any time in your
device settings under Settings → Google → Ads (reset or delete
the advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization).
- See the Google
Ads privacy & terms and
AdMob
documentation for details on how Google uses this data.
Where the data goes
Data leaves your device only to reach these services, over an encrypted
(TLS) connection:
- Google AdMob (and, through its mediation, Pangle and
ironSource) — serves and measures ads.
AdMob policy.
- Google Firebase Analytics — receives the aggregate
gameplay events.
Firebase privacy.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics — receives crash reports.
- Google Firebase Remote Config — downloads game settings
(for example, ad frequency) to your device. This is a download, not a
collection of your data.
- Google Play Billing — processes the optional Remove Ads
purchase. Google privacy policy.
Your level progress, weapon unlocks, and settings stay on your device
(local storage).
Children
Recoil Clash features stylized cartoon gun duels and is intended for a
general audience aged 13 and up. We do not knowingly collect data from
children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data, contact
us at the address below and we'll delete any associated records.
Deleting your data
- Uninstall removes all local save data from your device.
- Reset your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads
to break the link the ad SDKs use.
- To request deletion of any analytics or crash records, email us at the
address below.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or where it goes, the "Last updated" date at
the top of this page changes too. Significant changes will be flagged inside
the app on next launch.
